As a gesture to the carbon generated during the manufacture and freight of the goods we will contribute 1% of our gross profits to Cool Earth. They purchase half acre lots in areas of the South American Rain Forest close to where deforestation is occurring.

Cool Earth secures threatened rainforest. They put it in a local trust, and protect it around the clock to keep the carbon where it belongs. They employ local people to do the work, help fund community health and education services and make sure the rainforest is worth more standing than cut down.

One acre of forest contains about 275 tons of carbon. Shipping 2 pallets from China generates about 750kg of carbon 1 acre will cost £75 to secure for a lifetime.
